Jennifer Breslow, LCAT, LPC, LPAT, ATR-BC
I’m a licensed therapist in New York, Pennsylvania and NJ working with adults who feel overwhelmed, anxious, stuck in patterns, or unsure how to move forward—especially in relationships or within themselves.
In my work with clients (and personally) I’ve navigated the murky waters of anxiety (especially anxious attachment), the challenges of cultivating secure relationships, and the difficult journey to accept and find a place for the wounds and early experiences that shape us.
Many of the people I work with are used to holding things together on the outside, while internally feeling anxious, self-critical, or disconnected from what they need.
My work focuses on helping you better understand these patterns so you can feel more grounded in yourself—and less like you have to shrink or adapt in order to maintain connection and a sense of safety.

I’ve long been drawn to the creative process as a way of making sense of experience—something that has offered me expression, joy, and a sense of refuge throughout my life.
My early interest in combining images and words led me into graphic design, before I returned to school to study art therapy, seeking work that felt more meaningful and connected.
I worked for many years with addiction, supporting both those in recovery and those impacted by a loved one’s substance use. I started my private practice over fifteen years ago and it has evolved to focus on helping people manage anxiety, cultivate healthy relationships, work through patterns created in childhood and face the loss of a pet.
I am currently based in Philadelphia after almost a quarter century living and working in New York City (I’ll always be a New Yorker on the inside!) I am most at home in cities—the energy, the intensity, the cultural diversity—and that sensibility often informs my work, particularly with people navigating the demands of urban life, relationships, and the internal pressure to keep everything moving.
