Online therapy for adults in New York City, Philadelphia and throughout NY, NJ and PA.

Therapy Fees

Individual Psychotherapy Sessions are $175 per 50 minute session. I accept payment via credit card or HSA/FSA.

Insurance

New York: I am in-network with Cigna.
Pennsylvania: I am in-network with, Aetna, Cigna, Optum, Oscar Health, Oxford Health Plans, & Quest Behavioral Health

For other plans I am an out-of-network provider and do not accept insurance directly.

However, many insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits, which may allow you to receive partial reimbursement for sessions. If you have this benefit, I can provide you with a monthly statement (superbill) to submit to your insurance company.

If you’re unsure about your coverage, you may want to ask your insurance provider:

  • Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
  • What is my deductible, and has it been met?
  • What percentage of the fee is reimbursed?
No Surprises Act

Under federal law, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of therapy if you are not using insurance. This estimate outlines the anticipated cost of services and will be provided in writing upon request or before your first session. If you receive a bill that is $400 or more above your estimate, you have the right to dispute the charge.

Getting Started

I don’t offer brief consultation calls. In my experience, it can be difficult to get a real sense of whether therapy feels like a good fit in a short conversation.

Instead, we begin with a full initial session. This allows us the time and space to get to know each other more naturally, and for you to get a clearer sense of how it feels to work together.

There’s no expectation to continue beyond that first session—you’re welcome to take the time to decide what feels right for you.

If you have questions about fees or insurance before getting started, I’m happy to answer them by email.
