I’m a little late to viewing this video, but saw it recently and found it to be a lovely and poetic meditation on the capacity to be alone. In our constantly connected culture, it’s harder and harder to be alone and people sometimes tend to avoid it. What would you discover about yourself and the world around you if you put down the cell phone and sat on a bench for an hour? Spending time alone can be a way to grow as a person, learn about what really makes you tick, and make you more ready and equipped to be in relationship with others.

I hope you enjoy this video as much as I did. The poem written by Tanya Davis is also available in an illustrated book.
