Serving Life is a moving documentary that highlights a program at a maximum security prison where inmates who are serving lengthy or life sentences care for dying inmates in a prison hospice. It’s a powerful film that demonstrates that most people should not be defined by only one thing. Even those who have committed horrible crimes and made a terrible choice at a moment in their life can find a capacity to show empathy, compassion and altruism. Redemption may not be possible for everyone, but this video presents a lot of hope.

This documentary shows how powerful it can be to step out of oneself and give to others. Never underestimate what you might have to offer someone else. The places to cultivate meaning are endless and may not be where we expect…

You can check out the trailer above and catch the full documentary on Netflix or Amazon. It’s definitely worth the time to watch the full documentary.
